Just take…
…charcoal or charcoal briquettes?
In order to have a successful and enjoyable BBQ party, you need the right ingredients: perfect BBQ weather, a nice open air sitting area, guests, BBQ food, drinks – and fuel. This immediately gives rise to the question: Should I go for charcoal or charcoal briquettes?
The answer is quite simple: If you plan on grilling smaller quantities in a shorter time, we recommend using charcoal. After being lit, it does not take long until the coals glow red, which is why they are “ready for grilling” sooner.
Although this process takes longer when using charcoal briquettes, they last considerably longer. So, if you plan on having a convivial barbecue with more people, it is best to fill your grill with charcoal briquettes.
The following applies to both fuels: Your grilling experience cannot start until the charcoal is covered in a layer of light grey ash. It usually develops after 20-30 minutes. Finally, one last important instruction: Keep children well away from the grill!
